It’s the end of week one back at work, we had a great Christmas break eating and drinking our way through the festive period. The Pride of Britain awards are recognised at an annual award ceremony which has been running since 1999. The awards are designed to honour Britain’s unsung heroes; people who have acted bravely or extraordinarily in challenging situations. Read all about the couragious winners for 2017.

As some of you may know Farsight employees get a chance at the end of one financial year to nominate a charity of their choice for the company to sponsor for the following financial year (August to July). All members of staff vote for the charity they think is most deserving of our support and then for that whole year Farsight strive to donate as much money as possible for the chosen charity through different avenues of fundraising.

CEO Tom Dean and Assistant Manager Abby Charleton from Farsight Recruitment visited Padley Group, a homeless shelter based in Derby, last week to present them with a cheque for a whopping £3,864.38.

Farsight’s fundraising ‘Party with a Purpose’ was a huge success, raising a grand total of £1,400 for its adopted charity, Padley Group, and taking the total of its ongoing fundraising to over £3,000.
