The ultimate 'snackrifice'?

Seventeen of Farsight’s Derby-based recruitment team took part in a chocolate-free challenge last month, to raise money for the company’s largest fundraiser to date – The Farsight Mighty Paintathon.

The Mighty Paintathon is raising funds through various events and initiatives to pay for a vital re-paint of Derby’s busy centre for homeless and vulnerable people.

Farsight Director, Donna Butler, her 15 year old daughter, Nicole and Resourcer, Josh Barrow, led the team by example through a full month of abstinence. The three of them raised nearly £200, which was all added to the Farsight JustGiving page with a target of £5000.

All three found the task somewhat of a challenge, with Donna replacing her chocolate fix with wine, and Josh opting for a diet of doughnuts and shortbread to stave off the cravings.

Well done to Donna, Josh (pictured) and Nicole – and all those who rose to the challenge in the name of Derby’s homeless and vulnerable.
