On Friday the 12th of May Farsight celebrated the end of the 3rd quarter for this financial year. If you follow our blog you will know that each quarterly meeting is a celebration of all things Farsight. We discuss targets, figures hit, and plans for the future then we give out awards to our outstanding staff.
I wouldn’t want to bore you with the numbers so I will jump straight into who won what.
The first award was ‘Rule of the game’, in the office we have 17 rules that we live and die by, for example integrity, candour and honesty. Each week in our team meetings everyone nominates the person they thinks has best demonstrated the rule of the week. Each time a member of staff wins (with the most votes) they get to pick a number between 1 and 30. In the quarterly meeting the numbers are drawn out of a hat and if your number is picked you win some vouchers and a bottle of wine. You need to be in it to win it so the more weeks you win the more chances you’ll have.
The winner this quarter was Jess Smith who happily accepted the vouchers but had to pass on the wine as she is expecting her first baby in July. Well done and congratulations Jess.
The second award we presented was ‘Above and beyond’. Nominations for this prize are collated throughout the month for members of staff who have gone above their usual job role. This could be for things such as giving a candidate a lift to site or helping a colleague deal with a job outside of work.
The winner for Q3 was Parris Brown. She received her nomination for helping a client resolve an issue outside of work within her first week of working in sales showing her dedication to the job. Thanks for your hard work Parris.
Prize number three was solely for the sales team. Each week the consultant that most exceeded their sales figures got to pick a number and as before we draw a number at the meeting. It was a tough competition with five consultants all battling to win.
Well done to Rebecca Smith who won herself some high street vouchers and a nice bottle of red wine.
The next two prizes are individually picked by the senior management team.
‘Sales person of the quarter’ is picked based on the individual’s targets, how many new clients they bring on board and how well they look after existing clients and candidates.
Well done to Heather McDonald who is consistently over her target and always works hard to offer the best service to everyone she deals with. I am sure all her clients will agree with us that she is well deserving of this trophy. She also got a bottle of prosecco and some high street vouchers to treat herself.
Jack Searcy was the proud winner of ‘Stand out employee of the quarter’. Jack was managements stand out employee as he is always available to offer a helping hand to his colleagues and takes on extra work even when he is busy in his own role. He works hard all day every day and never gives anything but his best efforts. Well done Jack, enjoy your vouchers, Champaign and trophy.
What a fantastic end to another successful quarter for Farsight. Q4 we are ready for you!
