As some of you may know Farsight employees get a chance at the end of one financial year to nominate a charity of their choice for the company to sponsor for the following financial year (August to July). All members of staff vote for the charity they think is most deserving of our support and then for that whole year Farsight strive to donate as much money as possible for the chosen charity through different avenues of fundraising. In the past we have raised money for the likes of The Padley Group and Histio UK.
This year there were many worthy options nominated but the charity with the most votes and therefore our charity for the year commencing is Combat Stress.
Combat Stress is the UK’s leading veterans’ mental health charity. Treating a number of conditions including PTSD, depression and anxiety, they have more than 6,000 veterans of all ages registered with them for support. They spend £15 million a year delivering a unique range of specialist treatments and support and everything they do is completely free for the veterans.
Keep checking our social media pages for information on upcoming events supporting Combat Stress. Contact us if you would like to get involved and click this link to visit the Combat Stress official website to find out more.
